My
obsession with photography has been ongoing for many years (Dare I mention
the Kodak Brownie?) and although dogs go back as long as I can remember,--and
that's pre television!-- I had only ever seriously trained gundogs during
time spent with gamekeepers and landowners in the 70's and 80's.
Now- Dog Agility? If I had been asked a year ago exactly what it involved,
I would have been unable to give anything more than a very vague answer. And
now, I'm happy to admit that I'm well and truly 'hooked' along with the rest.
My dog (Poppy) is a scruffy little black Patterdale/Cocker X. I doubt we'll
ever win anything significant, (why is it always my fault when things go wrong?),
but we both have fantastic fun and would recommend it to everyone. Even those
old enough to remember the blitz!
We (Poppy and I) hope you enjoy the photos, and I'll pop one or two of 'The
Pop Dog' in there later on.
